Finding yourself around Kiev (Kyiv)
Tuesday, December 11th, 2007Kyiv is the city where the new and the old make excellent opportunities for historical and aesthetical tourism. However, before you become a visitor to this incredible city, take your time to figure out at least 2 points: accommodation and transport.
Let us discuss selecting an apartment. Depending on what you can afford and personal preference, you can either choose to rent a room in a Kiev hotel, or rent an apartment. Mind the class of Kiev hotels to evaluate the quality of the service and accommodation and the price you are willing to pay for it.
Kiev boasts of several five and four star hotels. There are virtually tens and tens of less luxurious Kiev accommodation facilities. A five star hotel is going to cost you around $400-850 per 24 hrs, 4 stars will cost $150-$500, 3 star hotels will cost you about $70-300, 2 stars will be from $50 to 120 and small and one star hotels cost around 25-100 per 24 hours.
There exist also a couple of hostels in the city for youth. In a regular hostel you can find modest but fresh accommodation facilities and some beds in one room.
